Norwegian Metal Mini-Documentary Featuring SATYRICON, EMPEROR, 1349 Available

MetalKult.com has just posted part one of its four-part Norwegian metal mini-documentary.

The footage was captured over four days in March 2008, when MetalKult editors Brad Angle and Jimmy Hubbard traveled to Oslo, Norway.

In episode one of the four-part series, MetalKult visit Oslo's Akershus Castle, the rebuilt Holmenkollen Chapel (which was burned in 1992 by members of the black metal community) and the site of Helvete (MAYHEM guitarist Euronymous' record store and informal black metal "inner circle" headquarters),before heading to SATYRICON's cavernous rehearsal studios for a gear tour courtesy of Satyr and Frost.

In each subsequent episode, which will debut on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, witness exclusive, rarely seen footage including a tour of EMPEROR drummer Trym's tattoo parlor, a gear walkthrough at EMPEROR guitarist Ihsahn's studio and a Norwegian metal pub crawl with 1349.
